Habitat Build – 2011
We assembled a crew again this year for a Habitat for Humanity build in Shakopee. This year we worked on insulation and the vapor barrier which made us all a little itchy at times
We had a great time together, lots of laughs, and most importantly we finished our job with time to spare. It was great to be working in the same neighborhood as last year because we were able to see the finished product and see the family that now lives there.
Walk for Life
On Thursday there was a Walk for Life event held at the MSP airport. Our IT team raised over $8,000 for the American Cancer Society! Great job team!! We had a nice time with friends and enjoyed walking around the airport casually instead of being in a rush. Fun fact: Did you know that walking the loop at the airport is 1.4 miles!?
The Prior Lake Polar Bear Plunge!
Wow! What an experience today with the Polar Plunge. Our group came in second for the most raised with over $6,000 for the Special Olympics!! Thank you to all of the donors!!! We had an awesome bunch with friends and family to support us. Thanks to Mom, Joe, Nix, and Jenn for joining us today!
We have many more pictures to share from various sources. Please check back to the Flickr stream for updates
Habitat for Humanity
Today we had a lot of fun in Shakopee helping with the roof trusses one of the Delta sponsored homes. We had a beautiful day and a great team to work with.
Everyone worked hard and we even allowed Kim S to use power tools
Thanks everyone!
