More I-35 Pictures
A photographer took some very compelling pictures. They have been submitted to CNN and are being used by them. This is the link to his pictures. Although some of the photos have people in them none are of obviously injured persons. The pictures are aimed towards structural damage.

7-7-7 Prince concert…
Better late than never right?
Brian, Justin and I went to Prince's first Minneapolis concert in almost 10 years. As always the performance was simply AWESOME!
Also, Prince brings out an interesting crowd. There were couples of all ages, MANY good looking women and the oddballs! Look at the dude below, he had a very Elton John like outfit on.
Anyhow, I hope it's not another 10 years before he comes back again!
What were you doing this afternoon?
I was keeping an eye on the Twins beating the Angel's using my trusty Treo and Slingbox. What a pair
Loving my XM INNO
I've been an XM subscriber since August of 2003. In that time I have owned many different XM models. My latest one is the Pioneer INNO. It's a nice and small device that I can carry in my pocket between work and the car. I even bought an arm band for when I do yard work and go biking. This keeps the unit high enough to get reception so I don't block the signal as I would with it on my belt.
I can store 50 hours of XM content or even split that and include MP3 storage. I can schedule recordings or simply record a single song that I like.
Overall, I am very pleased with this new unit and have went from three radios to two for the simple fact that it's so portable. I also have two car kits for each of our cars. Before I had units in each vehicle. This is nice because it cuts down on my subscription costs.

PS3 and the folding project…
![]()
Sony has bragged for a while about the power of their cell processor in the PS3. Well, it's really showing it's power with the Folding Project from Stanford. If you don't know anything about this project take a moment to read about it here. It's really amazing what can be achieved with this technology - cures for cancer, parkinson's, etc.
Have a look at the stats page to see just how much more the PS3's are doing that all the personal computers out there! Don, Sam and I are on a team for fun, there are a lot of them out there for Engadget, Joystiq and other communities but Don started one to honor his Wife's Aunt which is a good team for me to be on
The stat that really got me in all of this was:
"It's amazing that not only do proteins self-assemble -- fold -- but they do so amazingly quickly: some as fast as a millionth of a second. While this time is very fast on a person's timescale, it's remarkably long for computers to simulate.
In fact, it takes about a day to simulate a nanosecond (1/1,000,000,000 of a second)."
Now that's a lot of calculations!! If you have a PS3 run it overnight for a good cause!

My Slingbox is a great toy!
Thanks to my Slingbox I was able to watch listen and glance over once in a while at the Twins game today at work on my Treo 700wx.
On another note, for those of you with Palm based Treo's can now download a beta of the Sling player for Palm starting tomorrow! Go here for the download.
I finally found Blu-Ray & HD-DVD at Blockbuster!
Five of the six local BB stores near me don't carry either HD format. So, when I found that the Eagan store off of Cliff had both I was a very happy dude.
I currently have a very good deal through blockbuster.com where I get two online rentals, two in store swaps and one coupon for another movie/game all for $5.99. That's five movies or four movies and a game each month for $6! All in HD goodness
Pictures from our annual away Twolves game. This year we went to Memphis…
Only a month late! Brian, Joel and I had a great time. Justin, you were missed! There is alway next year (Joel is thinking Toronto)
